How our recruiting team works

Applying for a job can be stressful. We want to do everything we can to reduce this discomfort. Here is how our recruitment process works.

Our team has grown from two to more than 55 people in the past five years. As we keep expanding throughout the Netherlands, we are always looking for new colleagues. Our candidates come from all over, from everyone looking for a new challenge on Indeed to former tenants. And they all want to know why I enjoy working here.

What I personally love about Holland2Stay is the positive vibe in the company. We are working in a young, international team that is eager to learn. Everyday, we do our best to make moving to a new place as easy as possible and to give our tenants the best living experience. We are experiencing an exponential growth at the moment, which requires hard work. At the same time, this gives us the opportunity to experiment, fail and learn. New ideas are appreciated and encouraged by the management.

GETTING EXCITED?

Once you find a job opening that fits your skills and interests, you can apply via our website. We will review your application based on the requirements of the position. If your application is not selected, we will inform you via email. If your profile matches our requirements, we will get in touch with you for a short phone interview. We will ask you about your motivation and some practical matters regarding availability, salary expectations, and planned holidays. During this interview, we will decide whether you will be invited for an interview.

Your first interview will be with me. During this first interview, we will discuss your background and experience relative to the job you applied for. I will happiliy provide you with more information about Holland2Stay and your desired job. This interview is a time for us to get to know each other. Feel free to ask all the questions you have!

If you are selected for a next round interview, you will meet with the hiring manager and some team members. Also, you will get a tour around the office, which is a great chance to get a feel for what the environment is like.

The exact number of interviews and who you will meet depends on the role, location and manager. After your final round of interviews, there will be an internal meeting between the interviewers to make the final decision. We will inform you about the outcome as soon as possible. If you are selected, I will contact you to discuss the terms of your job offer and a potential start date.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer a job to everyone we invite for an interview. Please know that we appreciate your interest in working for Holland2Stay and the time you invested to apply. We will keep your resume in our database. We regularly reach out to former candidates when new roles open up.
