In your monthly rent, an advance payment of all utilities and services is included. This amount is based on average yearly usage.
Every year, you receive an overview of the pre-paid service and utility costs compared to your actual usage from the previous year. You pay for what you have consumed. When you have used less, you'll receive the extra paid fees back. When you have used more, you'll have to pay the extra costs as stated in the settlement bill.
Normally you receive the settlement in July. For example, you'll receive the settlement bill for 2022 (January 1, 2022 - December 31, 2022) in July 2023. If you receive your settlement bill later, it might be that we're still waiting for the final invoices of our suppliers or that we're waiting for approval from the property owner to send you the invoice.
