When you terminate your contract, it is possible to schedule a pre-checkout. During this pre-checkout, one of our colleagues visits and inspects your residence using the check-in report. The pre-checkout will give you a realistic overview of the tasks that you need to complete before the end of your tenancy, in order to receive your deposit in full. Examples of the tasks and responsibilities that could be recommended at the pre-check out include a thorough cleaning throughout, defrosting of the freezer, replacing old light bulbs, and removing all food and personal items from the property.
Usually, the pre-checkout takes place five days before you move out, so you have time to do repairs or thourough cleaning if necessary.
