Twin consists of two similar residential buildings, housing a total of 196 apartments with multiple bedrooms. The modern residences are largely surrounded by water. With light incidence as an important base, the layouts of the apartments have a welcoming and practical design. The large floor-to-ceiling windows contribute to light homes and provide a great view of the surroundings.

This residence is unfurnished*, leaving you plenty of room to decorate your home according to your personal taste! The apartment is equipped with a bathroom and kitchen with built-in appliances, such as a dishwasher, a fridge, a freezer, and a combi-oven. Each residence is fit with an electronic sun protection system.

Good to know

• This residence is unfurnished. This means that you have to install your our own floors and that you can finish the walls according to your own taste. The walls will be ready for you to apply wallpaper and the floors will be ready for you to install carpet, laminate floors or another type of wooden floors.
• Lights and curtains are not included.
• All apartments have a separate storage room in the basement of the building.
• The prices mentioned on our website are basic rent prices and exclusive of utilities. Please note that gas, water, electricity and internet/TV are not included in the rental price. You need to arrange these utilities yourself.
• Twin offers parking possibilities in the underlaying parking garage. A private parking spot is included in the monthly rent.

Twin is conveniently located in Amsterdam Osdorp (Amsterdam West), close to shopping street Pieter Callandlaan. A wide range of shops, supermarketes, and other facilities can be found in the close surroundings of the buildings. Shopping center Osdorpplein is within walking distrance from Twin.

Twin is perfectly located close to tram line 1. Whether you take the bicycle, tram, or boat, you can easily reach Amsterdam’s vibrant city center. Also, you can quickly reach the highways A4, A5, A9, and A10 by car.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

How does it work?
First, gather two or three persons you want to live together with. Next, you can book the apartment. In order to be eligible to book this apartment, your joint gross monthly income (including the average bonuses, allowances and holiday payments), should be at least the amount mentioned below. Note that only one person needs an Holland2Stay account to make the booking. This person is the main tenant and pays the monthly rent. Each tenant will receive a rental agreement is and accountable for the monthly rent. Note that you can only book this residence with at least three persons.

 

INCOME REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible to book this residence, you must either be a student or a working professional.

Are you a student? Then you should provide us with a proof of enrolment at a Dutch educational institution for the current year. You can upload this document after making the booking. The rent of this residence is too high to benefit from housing allowance. Nevertheless, we want to give you the opportunity to book this residence as a student. In order to rent this apartment, we ask you to pay a higher deposit that amounts to five times the all-in rent price. Dutch students can be guaranteed by their parent(s) instead of paying the higher deposit. For this the parent(s) need to co-sign the rental agreement and we need a proof of income.

Are you employed? Then your gross monthly income (including the average bonuses, allowances and holiday payments), should be at least:

Gross monthly income Couple? Then your joint income is the highest income plus 50% of the second income	€5,140.00
Gross monthly income expat (30% tax ruling) Couple? Then your joint income is the highest income plus 50% of the second income	€4,290.00

After booking you need to upload your employment contract and a recent salary slip (max. 3 months old), so we can verify your income.

If you are a Dutch young professional and you do not fulfil the income requirements yet, it might be possible to be guaranteed by your parent(s). Please reach out to us to discuss your possibilities.

Are you a temporary agency worker? If you work via an employment agency, you can only apply for this residence if you have been working for that agency for more than 78 weeks (Fase B or Fase 3). Please be aware that having a secondment contract does not guarantee that we accept your booking. We will have to evaluate your case to determine if you are eligible to book.
