About the residence

The former office of insurance company De Holland has been completely transformed into 58 regular and duplex apartments. The modern apartments come fully furnished, in mid-century modern design. Please note that linen is not included. Each residence has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and a private bathroom with shower. The apartments have a separate storage (approx. 1 m²) in the basement.

Residents of DEHOLLAND can make use of a communal launderette and can safely store their bikes in the bike shed in the basement. There are a limited amount of parking spaces available, which can be rented for €50 p/m. As a resident, you can enjoy the weather and meet your fellow residents on the beautiful communal rooftop terrace.

Neighborhood
DEHOLLAND is located in calm residential neighborhood in the city center of Dordrecht, next to the National Museum of Education. The historical center of Dordrecht can easily be reached by foot. The area is filled with shops, eateries and cafes. DEHOLLAND has great access to public transportation: there is a bus stop in front of the building and the main train station of Dordrecht can be reached within 10 minutes by foot.

Income requirements

To be eligible to book this residence, you must either be a student or a working professional.

Are you a student? Then you should provide us with a proof of enrolment at a Dutch university (for the current year). You can upload this document after making the booking. The rent of this residence is too high to benefit from housing allowance. Nevertheless, we want to give you the opportunity to book this residence as a student. In order to rent this apartment, we ask you to pay a higher deposit that amounts to five times the all-in rent price. Dutch students can be guaranteed by their parent(s) instead of paying the higher deposit. For this the parent(s) need to co-sign the rental agreement and we need a proof of income.

Are you employed? Then your gross monthly income (including the average bonuses, allowances and holiday payments), should be at least:

Are you a temporary agency worker? If you work via an employment agency, you can only apply for this residence if you have been working for that agency for more than 78 weeks (Fase B or Fase 3). Please be aware that having a secondment contract does not guarantee that we accept your booking. We will have to evaluate your case to determine if you are eligible to book.
