    Amersfoort as student city

    Counting many students, Amersfoort is one of the best Dutch student cities. Known as city with historical charm and creative energy, there are lots of festivals and events. There are many cafes to dance, drink, and meet other students – not entirely unimportant for students! Utrecht is only 15 minutes by train and Amsterdam only 30.

    Benjamin is part of the neighborhood Hoefkwartier. Known by many as De Hoef-West, this district is currently undergoing a transformation into a vibrant part of Amersfoort. Benjamin is not the only transformation project here. Bordering Het Waterwingebied and the city center, you’re standing in nature or the city center within 10 minutes.

    Benjamin is located northeast of Amersfoort’s city center. Thanks its central position in the Netherlands, you’re in no-time in Utrecht, Amsterdam, or Arnhem – by car or train.

    Amersfoort is not too crowded and will surprise you with its charm. It’s not as big as Utrecht, and has canals, many monumental buildings, and squares filled with restaurants and coffee hotspots. It also has lots to offer if you’re into arts and culture. Should we go on?
