    From church to homes

    Once a gathering place as former St. Michaël church, this building now has been transformed into 19 apartments. The building was intended as an emergency church in the late 1950s but was eventually given a more permanent purpose. The last service took place in 2004. Eindhoven’s municipality designated the church as a monument.

    The building Clothilde is located in the street Clovislaan. Clovis was the first king of the Franks. The cultural-historical building is named after Clovis’ wife: Clothilde. Clothilde founded monasteries all over France and eventually got her own holiday on June, 3.
