Historic and new Delfshaven
The Lee Towers are located in neighborhood Delfshaven, one of the few parts of Rotterdam that survived the Second World War bombing of Rotterdam in 1940. It’s characteristic because of its authentic Dutch looks. Think of historic canal houses, artists’ studios, and no-nonsense places to eat.
M4H district
On the other side, Delfshaven is known for its M4H district. The area around The Lee Towers is part of an area development, where the traditional port area will be transformed into a new residential area where water, land, port, city, living, and working become one.

The Lee Towers is located in Delfshaven, one of the best districts to rent if you want to strike a perfect work-life balance. Here on the west side of Rotterdam, you’re renting in Rotterdam’s creative and buzzing MH4 district. Formerly an industrial port site, this area is now characterized by a young, artistic, and industrial atmosphere.
- You’re living in the middle of public transportation haven when renting at The Lee Towers. In front of the door, you’ll find Marconiplein. There’s a metro station, and several tram and bus stops.
- Get your groceries at one of the supermarkets nearby, for example at Albert Heijn (550 meters) or discount supermarket Lidl (850 meters).
- Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences is 11 minutes away by bike, or 14 minutes by metro. Erasmus University can be reached within 20 minutes by bike or 30 minutes by metro.
- Reach Rotterdam’s city center by bike in 15 minutes and by public transportation in only 20 minutes.
- Around the corner, you’ll find Dakpark Rotterdam at Vierhavensstraat. On the street level, this place is stocked with many shops and stores. From up here, there’s a large park from where you look out over the neighborhood and harbors, and you’ve got a beautiful view of The Lee Towers.
