Life at The Rock

This 55-meter-high building will house a total of 296 residences for rent, of which 99 one- and two-bedroom apartments. In various layouts, the residences will vary in size from 42 to 95 square meters.

The Rock is part of Binck City Park, an innovative, nature-inclusive, and socially blended residential complex in The Hague’s Binckhorst district. The project consists of four residential blocks with a total of 896 rental homes, each with its own identity. One of the neighboring blocks, De Evert, is already in our management.

Residents of The Rock have access to a rooftop garden, overlooking Kasteel De Binckhorst. Besides that, a roof park connects the building with the other three blocks of Binck City Park. It will be a fully functioning ecosystem, home to birds, bees, and butterflies – on top of the parking garage. A place to escape from city life, where you can easily connect with neighbors.

Planning

This project is currently in development. It’s expected to be ready in Q1 of 2025.

Location

The Rock is part of the Binckhorst district in The Hague, currently transforming into a buzzing neighborhood. This district is characterized by its industrial vibe and will become a modern, creative, and new city district.

Binckhorst district

The district’s name ‘Binckhorst’ refers to The Rock’s neighbor Kasteel De Binckhorst. It’s a unique setting as this castle is proudly praised as the only castle left in The Hague.

The location between three center areas (The Hague's city center, Voorburg, and Rijswijk) ensures that facilities are within cycling distance. Eventually, the Binckhorst area will become even more involved in the city center of The Hague. It’s a spacious and pleasant living environment, close to surrounding highways.

Sustainability at its core

All buildings within Binck City Park contribute to a sustainable area development. Energy, water, ecology, reuse of materials, mobility and diversity are focus points. For example, the roof garden is a fully functioning ecosystem where a water retention roof collects rainwater.
