About residence
The former DSM office in Sittard is redeveloped into a multifunctional area: PITground. PITground brings together accommodation (STAYground), offices and meeting rooms (WORKground), and leisure spaces (SPAREground) in an inspiring concept.
STAYground houses 270 studio lofts. This studio offers all you need to live comfortably and study efficiently. The studio is furnished (excl. basic utensils and linen) with a custom-made interior and features a space-saving loft bed with a high-quality steel frame. The spacious living room can be used to work, dine, or hang out - it's up to you! There is a modern black kitchen, where you can prepare your favorite dishes. Plus, you have a private bathroom with a toilet, wash basin, and shower.
Living at STAYground has its perks. We offer various spaces, where you can make new friends. Dine with your fellow residents in the in-house restaurant. Do your laundry in the stylish laundrette or burn off some calories in the well-equipped in-house gym. With a gym membership, you can train unlimited.
Location
PITground is located in Sittard, one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands. With a short 10 minute walk, you will be right downtown! There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops. Sittard is quite vibrant at night and offers many cultural activities during the day as well.
The building is located right next to Sittard train station, so you can easily reach other cities in Limburg. The stations of Maastricht and Heerlen can both be reached in just 15 minutes by train.

Requirements
General requirements
This studio is offered with a campus contract. To be eligible to book this residence, you must be a student and provide us with a proof of enrolment at a Dutch educational institution for the current year. You can upload this document after you have made the booking.
You can only live in the studio as long as you are a student. Every year in September, we ask you to upload your proof of enrolment (for that year) to verify your student status. If you are no longer a student, you have to move within 6 months. You can stay until the end of March at the latest.
To rent this residence, you have to register in the Basisregistratie Personen (Personal Records Database) at the municipality.
Income requirements
You can book this residence as a student. You need to provide us with a proof of enrolment at a Dutch educational institution for the current year. You can upload this document after making the booking.
